ConServ 600 STRUCTURAL EPOXY REPAIR is a high strength, multipurpose adhesive designed for
structural repair applications in wood. As it comes from the container
it is suited to be used as a heavy duty structural consolidant.
When mixed with washed sand and or fine aggregate it can be used
to make structural repairs to load bearing members or connections. ConServ 800 rebar can further add to the versatility and effectiveness of structural repairs using this material. Depending on the mixture, this epoxy can be poured, brushed, sprayed, puttied, cast or molded to the affected area. Typical applications include reinforcing and casting purlins, rafters, joists, beams, columns and sills.
MIXING
Combine equal volumes of part A (epoxy resin) and part
B (curing agent) and blend thoroughly for 3 minutes using
a power mixer. When used as a mortar or epoxy concrete, combine
washed sand/or fine aggregate at a ratio of 3 parts epoxy to 9
parts filler by volume. A thixotropic material such as fumed silica
available from ConServ may be used as a thickener to prevent stratification/separation of fillers.
