Hazardous polymerization will not occur by itself, but masses of more than 1 pound of product plus
and aliphatic amine will cause irreversible polymerization and considerable heat buildup. |

Hazardous Decomposition Products: |
By-products expected in incomplete pyrolosis or combustion are mainly phenolics,
carbon monoxide, hydrgen chloride, and water. These by-products
should be treated as potentially hazardous substances and appropritate
precautions should be taken. |

Eye Contact: |
May cause slight transient eye irritation. |

Essentially nonirritating to the skin. |

Inhalation: |
Elevated temperatures may generate vapor levels
sufficient to cause eye and respiratory irritation. |

Single dose oral toxicity is low. No hazards
anticipated from ingestion incidental to industrial exposure. |
Emergency First Aid
|
Eye Contact: |
Flush immeditately with water for at least 15 minutes while lifting upper/lower lids. Get immediate medical attention. |

Skin Contact: |
Wash thoroughly with soap and water. |
|
Inhalation: |
Remove person to fresh air. Obtain immediate medical attention. |

Ingestion: |
No adverse effects anticipated by this route of exposure. |
Handling Precautions

Ventilation: |
Local exhaust recommended. |

Respiratory Protection: |
In the absence of proper ventilation wear a respirator approved by NIOSH/MSHA whenever exposed to
fumes or vapors. Organic vapor cartridge with HEPA filter is recommended. |

Use chemical worker goggles with splash protection or full face mask. |

Skin Protection: |
Use protective gloves made of nitril rubber or other impervious matter. |

Protective Clothing: |
Wear chemical resistant apron and or coveralls as required to minimize contact with product. |
Spill and Leak Procedures

In Case of Spill: |
Soak up in absorbent material such as sand and collect in suitable containers. Residual resin may be removed using steam or hot soapy water. Solvents are NOT recommended. Provide adequate ventilation during clean-up. |

Waste Disposal: |
Do Not dispose of in sewers, on ground or in water. Contaminated product should be disposed of by a licensed reclaimer, recycler or incinerator in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. |
