Can I glue a wood floor directly onto a floor that has vinyl tiles stuck fast to the concrete floor.

That is something I have not tried.  If it is appropriate for this wood to be glued down, I would consider the following: 1)Remember wood will want to move (expand & contract) relative to the surrounding humidity.  2)Make sure the wood is dry enough according to the manufactures specifications & allow it to adjust to the specific location's humidity level for 3 days or more.  3)Make sure the tiles are well bonded to the substrate.  4)Construction adhesive would probably be the product to consider using.  Contact the manufacturer for their recommendations.  5)The surface of the tiles might be to smooth & glossy to get a good bond.
